A never-published poster design for the Weimar Era silent film– painted in 1919, finally printed 99 years later!
In 1919, German artist Oskar Hacker created a series of paintings as poster designs to advertise silent movies of the day. Among the artworks was a never-published design for Alfred Lind's 1919 film ALKOHOL.
99 years later, we are making this artwork available for the very first time in a large poster format!
