Bières de la Meuse (1897) Limited Edition Museum Print and Perfume Set
A limited edition fine art print created directly from the rare original 1897 Alphonse Mucha poster Bières de la Meuse, paired with one bottle of Bières de la Meuse perfume oil by Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab.
About the edition print:
Large format color lithography was a new invention in the late 19th century, and artist Alphonse Mucha quickly gained recognition as a master of the medium. Commissioned to make an advertisement for La Meuse beer (named for the river on which the brewery was located) Mucha's poster caused a cultural sensation the moment it appeared on the streets of Paris in 1897.
The vision of a luminous goddess crowned with red poppies, trailing green hops, and spikes of golden wheat became an instant classic, and far surpassing its original purpose also became one of Alphonse Mucha's most recognized and celebrated works.
To create the Bières de la Meuse Limited Edition Museum Print, we used a high-resolution image file captured directly from the original 1897 poster in our museum archive. The superior image quality ensures that the subtle details and colors of the original artwork are preserved, so that the print you receive is both beautiful and faithful to the original artwork.
