David Mack is a New York Times Best Selling author, one of the most respected creators in the field of comics, and his artwork has been the subject of undergraduate and graduate university courses in Art and Literature and hung in the Los Angeles Museum of Art.

Mack has lectured at universities and taught classes in writing, drawing, and painting all over the world, including a Masterclass at the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia, Japan's School of Communication Arts of Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka, in Barcelona at the OFFFest presentation of trailblazing artists and designers, in Cincinnati as part of the prestigious TEDx series of educational seminars, and received an invitation to speak at Harvard as the Guest of Honor at their annual Science Fiction Writing convention.

David Mack has toured and exhibited his artwork throughout Europe, Asia, and America with numerous gallery shows, and with book signing tours at premier bookstores in over a dozen counties.  His figure drawings- executed in sumi-e brush while observing a live model- are his most intimate, immediate, and raw work.

In 2013 David's figure drawings were exhibited with the works of Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt in two different exhibits in Los Angeles and Chicago. His intimate sumi-e brush paintings have been collected in a boutique art book, David Mack MUSE Life Drawings 2012-2014, published by Century Guild.
